The Palazzo has a remarkable opportunity for an exceptional nurse to join our amazing team in our Five Star 60-Bed Skilled Nursing Unit located in beautiful Central Phoenix.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) to provide quality, holistic nursing care in accordance with nursing practice standards and health care regulations that govern the practice of professional nursing. Our nurses lead and direct licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of direct resident care and support functions as assigned.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Broad based knowledge of nursing practices and clinical standards

  • Qualifications to practice in the State of Arizona as an Licensed Nurse

  • An understanding of the role of a charge nurse in a skilled nursing unit

  • An ability to supervise and partner with our incredible CNA’s and other staff members

  • Thorough knowledge of State and Federal SNF Regulations

  • Skill in dealing with geriatric patients and chronic care needs

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Positive team player attitude and love working with people
  • LPN or RN
  • Previous administrative experience in Senior Living or SNF
  • Knowledge of various computer systems, particularly Excel and Word
  • A high degree of accuracy in all assignments; ability to manage time effectively, work with numerous interruptions, strength in showing initiative, good judgment; employs professional ethics; has a pleasant manner, good communication skills, and the ability to motivate
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card
