Backpack Healthcare is growing in Kentucky, and we're looking for compassionate, dedicated therapists who want to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
We provide high-quality virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults, making care more accessible for families across the state. As a clinician-led, minority-owned organization, we're committed to supporting both our clients and the therapists who care for them.

You'll provide 15โ22 telehealth sessions per week, delivering individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults throughout Kentucky.
Most clinicians see clients during weekday afternoons and evenings (2:00โ9:00 PM EST), with weekend availability welcomed. You create your scheduleโwe provide the referrals, administrative support, billing, and credentialing.
๐ฉบ Conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments
๐ Developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
๐ป Providing evidence-based individual and family therapy via secure telehealth
๐ค Collaborating with our interdisciplinary care team, including therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and care coordinators
๐ Completing timely, accurate clinical documentation within our electronic health record (EHR)
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ง Supporting families through education, collaboration, and coordinated care
๐ฒ $50 per billable hour for independently licensed clinicians
๐ฐ 401(k) with a 3% company match

We're seeking clinicians who have:
โ๏ธ An active Kentucky independent license ( LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT)
โ๏ธ Experience working with children, adolescents, and familiesโor a passion for serving this population
โ๏ธ The ability to work independently in a virtual environment
โ๏ธ A commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
