We’re supporting an established program in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and are seeking a Mental Health Outpatient Counselor to contribute to its continued growth and success. Our collaborative, interdisciplinary team provides compassionate, evidence-based care in an inclusive environment. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about holistic care, bridging mental and physical health, and working within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour

Location: 711 Colonial Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70806

This is a Fee-for-Service position. You’ll be compensated per service provided, allowing you the flexibility to create a schedule that suits you. This position is ideal for professionals seeking flexibility and the opportunity to manage their caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in an outpatient setting
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with standards
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed

Qualifications

• Required Active licensure as an LPC or LCSW.
• Master’s degree in human services or a related field.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience working with adults experiencing mental illness.
• Comprehensive knowledge of recovery principles and recovery-focused service systems.
• Possession of a valid Louisiana Driver’s License and compliance with all necessary state and federal clearances.
