Job Description

Unique position available for a professional and skilled Mental Health Clinician to work in Ohel's Mobile Outreach Team. The Mobile Outreach Team offers confidential in-home assessment, short term case management and crisis intervention for children, adolescents, adults, and their families struggling with mental illness. The responsibilities include administering mental health assessments, scheduling visits, linkage to ongoing mental health services, collaborating with families, schools, community members, collateral contacts, and medical & mental health professionals in developing treatment/discharge plans.

Further responsibilities include providing written and oral observations and strength based feedback in our EHR. Appropriate candidates should possess strong clinical, assessment and writing skills and clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families is a plus.

LMSW, LCSW or LMHC required. Must be willing to travel within NYC and some evenings hours when needed. Valid NY or NJ Driver’s license required, own car preferred. Bilingual a plus.
