As a Master’s Social Worker in our Case Management Department, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clients and their families through some of life’s most challenging moments. You’ll be a trusted guide—helping them navigate the emotional, social, and practical implications of medical situations while coordinating meaningful programs and services that improve quality of life.
Interview clients and families to assess social and emotional needs
Coordinate and plan individualized programs and activities
Provide crisis intervention and emotional support
Help families understand the complexities and lifestyle impacts of medical conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care
Use sound clinical judgment and creativity to meet evolving client needs
Work independently under general supervision with latitude to innovate
2–4 years of experience in social work or a related field
Strong knowledge of standard social work concepts, practices, and procedures
Ability to think critically, act compassionately, and manage multiple priorities
Confidence in crisis intervention and family support
Additional Job Description
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited School of Social Work
Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in South Carolina (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
