School-Based Mental Health Clinician (ERMHS)

Sonora, CA | Full-Time | School-Based

Looking for a mental health role where you can build real relationships with students — and have your evenings, weekends, and holidays back?

ISO Workforce Alliance is hiring a School-Based Mental Health Clinician (ERMHS) to join a supportive school team in beautiful Sonora, California.

If you’re an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, LEP, or other qualified California mental health professional who enjoys working with children and teens, we’d love to talk with you. Previous ERMHS experience is a plus, but you don’t necessarily need to have “ERMHS Clinician” on your résumé.

What You’ll Do

You’ll provide counseling and mental health support to students who need a little extra help succeeding socially, emotionally, and academically.

Your day may include:

• Individual and small-group counseling
• Supporting students with IEP-based mental health goals
• Collaborating with teachers, families, school psychologists, and Special Education teams
• Participating in IEP and student-support meetings
• Helping students develop coping, emotional regulation, and behavioral skills
• Completing progress notes and required documentation
• Providing additional support when a student is struggling or experiencing a crisis

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage & family therapy, or related field
• California LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, LEP, or other district-approved qualification
• A genuine interest in working with children and adolescents
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• School, pediatric, behavioral health, or Special Education experience is a plus
