FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME | $18-$20 PER HOUR, PLUS TIPS AND INCENTIVES
Many Hammer & Nails guests are trying professional hand or foot care for the first time. We are looking for manicurists and nail technicians who can provide excellent natural nail care while helping every guest feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, callus care, massage, and other services permitted by your license.
• Explain services clearly and make thoughtful recommendations without applying pressure.
• Recommend memberships, service upgrades, and home-care products when appropriate.
• Maintain guest notes, encourage rebooking, and build repeat relationships.
• Follow all Maryland sanitation and disinfection requirements.
• Keep the hand and foot room clean, stocked, and ready for the next guest
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• An active Maryland manicurist or cosmetology license, or eligibility to be licensed by the anticipated start date.
• Good natural nail-care fundamentals, attention to detail, and strong sanitation habits.
• A calm, professional manner and genuine interest in guest service.
• Evening and weekend availability.
• Experienced professionals, newly licensed graduates, and students nearing completion of an approved program are encouraged to apply.
