Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Electrician / Electrical Technician to support electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities at project sites.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on construction experience and be familiar with Singapore electrical regulations and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and single-line diagrams for system installation and maintenance.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and shutdown/turn-on procedures for electrical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of site equipment and hand tools and maintain the monthly installation checklist
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate and monitor daily maintenance activities to ensure smooth site operations.
• Ensure all electrical works are performed safely and comply with regulatory and project requirements.
• Support project site operations and ensure timely completion of electrical installation activities.
• Manage and oversee site generators, including application and compliance with EMA permits.
• Conduct monthly inspections of generators and electrical tools used on site.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service requests.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders regarding electrical works and project progress.
• Set up and install temporary electrical utilities and project power supply as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry.
• Possess a valid Electrician Licence or currently in the process of obtaining Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 certification.
• Minimum NITEC in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance experience with electrical equipment.
• Registered Licensed Electrical Worker with the Energy Market Authority (EMA) is preferred.
• Good teamwork, interpersonal skills, and a proactive can-do attitude
• Willing to work 6 days per week
