Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)Responsibilities-Provide individual, family, and group therapy within a person-centered, trauma-informed framework.-Incorporate creative arts therapy modalities to support emotional regulation, expression, and therapeutic engagement.-Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement appropriate clinical interventions.-Maintain timely, complete, and clinically accurate documentation in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards.-Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including psychiatrists, nurses, clinicians, and physicians involved in patient care.-Communicate consistently with outside agencies, schools, community programs, and service providers to support continuity of care.-Participate in team meetings, case conferences, agency trainings, and high-risk case reviews.-Incorporate feedback from supervision and team discussions into daily clinical practice.-Effectively integrate case management responsibilities to support patient care and treatment goals.-Adhere to the department’s outreach policies and procedures, engaging families and community supports as needed.-Manage time efficiently, including scheduling appointments, maintaining caseload productivity, and adhering to designated work hours.-Comply with all NYS Mental Hygiene regulations, departmental policies, confidentiality laws, documentation rules, and child abuse/neglect reporting requirements.-Follow departmental Risk Management policies and uphold high standards of ethical clinical practice.-Attend a minimum of 4 trainings per year to support ongoing professional development, skill enhancement, and self-awareness.-Meet the productivity and performance expectations set by the department.-Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Education & Licensure Requirements-New York State Licensure as a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) required.-Additional behavioral health licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) may be considered depending on program requirements, but LCAT is preferred for creative arts therapy functions.
Salary Range: $46.275/hr - $46.81/hr
Monday, Wednesday 11a-7a and Tuesday, Thursday Friday, 10a-6p
