Hammer & Nails Annapolis is hiring cosmetologists who enjoy men's grooming and want to build their skills in a professional, service-focused shop. The right person will combine strong technical work with an easy, confident guest experience. An established clientele is not required.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide consultations, men's haircuts, styling, shampoo and scalp services, gray blending, and other services permitted by your license.
• Learn and consistently deliver Hammer & Nails service standards and finishing details.
• Recommend services, memberships, and products based on each guest's needs.
• Maintain guest notes, encourage rebooking, and build repeat business.
• Follow Maryland sanitation requirements and keep your station and tools ready for every guest.
• Support the concierge team and fellow service providers throughout the day.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• An active Maryland cosmetology license, or eligibility to be licensed by the anticipated start date.
• Strong haircutting and styling fundamentals; men's cutting experience is preferred but not required.
• Dual-service experience in hair and natural nail care is a plus.
• Professionalism, reliability, and evening and weekend availability.
• Experienced cosmetologists, newly licensed graduates, and students nearing completion of an approved program are encouraged to apply.
