OLV Human Services is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Per Diem Licensed Community Provider to join our dynamic team!
Pay Range:
$30.00 - $36.00/hour, based on applicable years of experience

Responsible to: HCBS Clinical Supervisor

The Licensed Community Therapist provides Other Licensed Practitioner (OLP) services to individuals with behavioral health needs, including counseling, treatment planning, and evaluation. Service is provided to children, foster youth, and families to ensure that they are linked with supports both in the home, and in the community. The OLP researches and communicates with community organizations, and providers to provide a diverse array of services and to ensure all families and staff are aware of the resources available to them in their communities.
Essential Job Duties:
An OLP will provide direct services to clients in their home or community, and oversee the direct service providers as needed, ensuring quality service standards are met provide support, training and coaching to the staff.
1. Provide OLP services, including: Assessments: Treatment Planning: Psychotherapy (Counseling) and Crisis Intervention Activities.
2. Attend New Worker Training and insure DOH, OMH and OPWDD Training standards are met, maintain your records reflecting this. Complete required CEU’s for Licensure.
3. Attend team meetings, staff meetings and supervision sessions as scheduled
4. Report all incidents
5. Research community resources and build partnerships to assist with client programming
6.Ensure appropriate chain of command is utilized
7. Complies with all federal and state regulations and agency policies pertaining to HIPAA, false claims, whistleblower policies and all others.
8. Completes all documentation in electronic health record, including but not limited to, treatment plans, progress notes, assessments, safety plans.
9. Any other duties assigned by your supervisor.

Minimum Education Required:
Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
Minimum Experience Required:
At least 3 years of experience working with children

License/Registration/ Certifications Required:
•NYS Driver's License (required)
One of the following:
•Licensed Psychologist; OR
•Licensed Psychoanalyst; OR
•Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; OR
•Licensed Mental Health Counselor; OR
•Licensed Creative Arts Therapist

Training Requirements:
New Hire Orientation
Agency required annual trainings including Mandated Reporter
Program specific trainings including Trauma informed care

Physical Requirements:
The overall nature of the position is sedentary requiring little physical effort with occasional light physical exertion required.
There is little, if any, exposure to environmental conditions • The constant physical demands of the position are standing and walking.
The frequent physical demands of the position are climbing, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination, sitting.
The occasional physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling
