Job Opportunity: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Ramstein, Germany

Start Date: October 2026

Schedule: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)

Help Service Members Build Resilience and Thrive

Are you a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who wants to support service members through coaching and conversation rather than formal clinical treatment? French Consulting is looking for a Resilience and Performance Coach to provide non-clinical support focused on resilience, stress management, and overall well-being for service members at Ramstein Air Base and surrounding locations in Germany.

This is a voluntary, confidential, coaching-style role — not psychotherapy or formal treatment. You will meet people where they are, talk through personal and professional stressors, and help them build the tools to stay strong and steady, all while working alongside strength coaches, physical therapists, and psychologists on one integrated team.

What You'll Do

Coaching & Support

• Provide confidential, voluntary, non-clinical coaching focused on resilience, stress management, and performance.
• Talk through personal, professional, and operational stressors to help service members stay grounded and effective.
• Recommend official support resources when appropriate.
• Keep conversations confidential, raising concerns to leadership or medical personnel only when there's a clear and immediate risk of harm, or when required by law.

Outreach & Education

• Lead monthly workshops on resilience, stress management, and life balance for service members and their families.
• Share general resilience and stress trend observations with leadership (without including any personal health information).

Who You Are

• You are a natural listener who builds trust quickly.
• You understand the difference between coaching and clinical treatment, and you're comfortable staying in that lane.
• You are confident speaking in front of groups and leading workshops.
• You collaborate easily with other providers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• You understand — or want to understand — military life and what it takes to support service members.

Qualifications

Education & Licensure

• Master of Social Work degree from an accredited institution.
• Current, active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential recognized within the United States.

Background Check

• Ability to pass all required background investigations and obtain installation access.

Work Authorization

• Must possess SOFA status with access to U.S. military installations; OR
• Legal authorization to work in Germany and ability to pass a police background investigation.
