$3,000 Sign-On Bonus | Supportive Clinical Team | Located just 35 minutes from Asheville
Join a compassionate team dedicated to helping individuals on their path to recovery. We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) who is experienced in assessing and treating individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
In this role, you will provide clinical support to individuals facing complex behavioral health challenges, including substance use, mental illness, personality disorders, and barriers within their support systems. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team, coordinating care with psychiatry, community support services, families, and external partners such as the legal system and social service agencies to ensure individuals receive comprehensive, person-centered care.
Licensed or Associate-Level Therapist – Burnsville, NC

We’re seeking Licensed or Associate-Level Therapists who are passionate about providing mental health and substance use services. Clinical supervision toward full licensure and LCAS supervision is provided for associate-level clinicians.
Provide therapeutic services, including assessments, crisis intervention, individual, and group therapy for adults with mental health or substance use challenges
Serve individuals with a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses
Facilitate relationships and act as a link between clients, local agencies, and community resources
Support holistic treatment by connecting individuals to services and resources
Collaborate closely with other clinical and professional staff to maintain communication, provide feedback, standardize procedures, and support treatment plan implementation
Occasionally back up the Program Director or other therapists as needed
Contribute as an active, positive member of the clinical team
Valid North Carolina licensure: LCAS, LCAS-A, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCSW, LCSW-A (dual licensure preferred but not required)
Interest or experience in substance use treatment; if not licensed in substance use, willingness to obtain licensure
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or ability to learn quickly
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Physical capability to lift 20–50 lbs and perform CPR if needed
