Job Description

Maersk Air Cargo is accelerating the future of global logistics. As part of Maersk’s integrated end‑to‑end offering, our air cargo business connects speed, reliability, and scale—linking critical markets and enabling customers to move high‑value and time‑sensitive goods with confidence. With a growing global network and a clear ambition to redefine how air logistics supports supply chains, Maersk Air Cargo is where aviation meets transformation.

Please note: while this role is advertised in Cologne, the successful candidate will be employed in Denmark and will travel between Denmark and Cologne on a rotational shift basis.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting line maintenance on our Boeing 767 freighter fleet at designated line stations
  • Performing technical troubleshooting and fault rectification, ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of our aircraft.
  • Contributing to Maersk’s goal of maintaining industry-leading on-time performance through diligent and proactive maintenance practices.
  • Ensuring full compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations, company procedures and Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE).
  • Managing daily documentation, including technical reporting, handovers, and logbook entries.

What we're looking for

  • Licensed aircraft engineers holding a valid EASA Part-66 B1 AML.
  • Type-rated on at least one complex aircraft >5700kg MTOW; preference given to B767 and B777.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and EU passport
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Danish is an advantage
  • A self-starter who can work independently under pressure yet also thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize both scheduled maintenance and AOG situations.
  • A professional with high personal standards, who consistently demonstrates attention to detail, accountability, and a strong safety mindset.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are essential: willingness to work in rotating shifts and to be stationed at one of our line stations for approximately 2 months per year

Take pride in delivering safe, reliable aircraft every day. If you’re ready to bring your expertise to a high-performing team, apply now and join us in Cologne.
