The Library Technician position at Potomac Library is a vital public-facing role. This part-time role handles patron technology support, public computer troubleshooting, digital literacy instruction, and standard library service desk operations. You will be a vital part of the Potomac team that reintroduces the community to everything a dynamic and inclusive environment offers.

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
The position may require travel to other branches within the system. A DMV check will be conducted for employees who drive while on County business.
This is a part-time, 20-hour-a-week position which includes days, evenings, and weekend hours. Scheduling flexibility is essential. Potomac staff are scheduled Monday through Wednesday, 9:00 am-8:00 pm. Thursday through Saturday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
The schedule includes days, at least one evening, and rotating weekends.
Hiring Salary Range: $21.14 - $32.17/hour
