What You'll Be Doing:
As a Library Assistant, you'll support the delivery of a high-quality library and information service.
This includes:
You will be appointed to a library base(s), but there will be an expectation that you will work at other libraries as required.Hours of work are listed against the available posts and are a set working pattern over two weeks, see attachment for rotas.

Our ideal person will be welcoming and friendly, have a love for reading and be passionate about sharing this. You will have excellent communication and digital skills, be able to work with a range of stakeholders and be able to deliver a customer focused service.

Interview Process:
The interview process will be in two parts:
Part 1 - All shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day This will last about 1hr and involve:
Part 2 - All applicants attending the assessment day will be invited for interview
Assessment Date:
9:30am to 11:00am - 10th February - Barnoldswick Library
2:30pm to 4:00pm - 10th February - Brierfield Library
Interview Date: 23rd February – Burnley library

Please note the salary quoted for this position is the full time equivalent. These positions are part time, therefore, the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis.
