We are seeking a Library and Council Services Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full‑time (40 hours per week) basis, primarily based at Takapuna Library within the Devonport–Takapuna Local Board. This is a Band E role with a salary range of $65k – $69k, depending on skills and experience.
Takapuna Library is the only fully integrated library and council services site on the North Shore, providing both professional library services and frontline council support from one welcoming community space.

As a Library and Council Services Assistant, you help ensure people can access information, council services, learning opportunities, and inclusive public spaces—often at important moments in their lives.
