
He angitūtanga: The Opportunity
In this customer service focussed role, you will be contributing to the day-to-day running of Remuera Library. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a high achieving team whilst making our customers feel welcome and supported. Remuera Library is a hub of the local community, and you will be working closely with our local customers through a range of programmes, from children's activities to supporting and/or delivering exciting programmes and events.
We are looking for someone who has an enthusiasm for serving our community, making our customers feel welcome and enjoys providing wonderful customer service
Remuera library is open seven days a week, so these positions include regular weekend shifts. The ability to work weekends is essential.
These are permanent, part‑time positions working 18 hours per week as follows:
Position 1 - Thursday (10am to 7pm), Saturday (9am to 4pm) and Sunday (12noon to 4pm).
Position 2 – Tuesday (10am to 5pm), Wednesday (10am to 5pm), Saturday (9am to 4pm)
While these roles are currently based at Remuera Library, some flexibility may be required to support library services across the Ōrākei Local Board.

Salary: Band E ($67,414 - $79,310) dependant on experience.
