Engage directly with Wake County citizens as an Adult Services Librarian, where you'll have the chance to share the magic of the library with the community. From delivering captivating programs, cultivating partnerships with community organizations, offering one-on-one professional services, and working on a service desk, you'll create unforgettable experiences that inspire a lifelong love of reading and learning. Your role will be essential in connecting adults of all ages with the library's resources, fostering relationships and building community. Additionally, this is a new position at the Express Library Fayetteville Street, so you will be working with the branch manager to develop the specifics of the role as you go.
The Express Library Fayetteville Street is in the process of leaning into existing connections and growing new partnerships to benefit those coming to ELF in the following conditions and circumstances:
We are working towards developing partnerships with organizations both within the structure of the Wake County Government and without to support patrons in these various circumstances, and as an Adult Services Librarian at the Express Library Fayetteville Street, you’ll play an important role in this work.
