Serves as a tactical subject matter expert (SME) for Donor Account Processes (DAP), ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across donor data operations. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of data integrity within ALSAC donor systems—including the donor management platform and other financial applications—to support and strengthen St. Jude’s fundraising efforts.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of analytical expertise, process improvement mindset, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize donor data workflows and enhance organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Subject Matter Expertise

Act as a tactical SME for Donor Account Processes within Mavro and Salesforce, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and process support.

Batch Processing & Follow-Up

Monitor and follow up on Mavro batches requiring source codes or additional clarification to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Daily Financial Processing

Process the daily Check 21 file within Mavro in accordance with established procedures and timelines.

Issue Reporting

Proactively identify and escalate processing delays or issues to management to minimize operational impact.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, measure fundraising effectiveness, and deliver actionable insights. Develop and present comprehensive reporting to support senior leadership decision-making.

Process Improvement

Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives for DAP workflows. Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to enhance accuracy, speed, and overall operational performance.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to ensure team members are proficient in DAP processes, systems, and best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with IT, Finance, Fundraising, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment, integration, and optimization of donor data processes across the organization.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all processes comply with financial regulations, internal policies, and data governance standards. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect donor data and financial integrity.

Innovation & Technology Enablement

Stay informed of emerging technologies and trends in data management. Evaluate and implement tools and enhancements that improve DAP operations and system capabilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and data management practices
  • Experience working with complex data systems and financial or donor management applications
  • Demonstrated ability in prioritization, planning, and execution, with strong professional judgment and leadership capability
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio)
  • Experience with Mavro and donor management systems (preferred)
  • Basic project or change management experience, including training and process adoption
  • Adaptability and willingness to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field or
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in donor operations, data management, finance, or a related discipline
