Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies. Manages non-exempt/exempt individual contributors and/or supervisors. Has accountability for results of a major program in terms of cost, direction and people management. Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' work may involve strategic issues. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Typically reports to MG2 or Director.
Additional guidance/criteria:
Manages and controls activities within multi countries or a sub-regions which are part of a larger geographical Region.
Manages at least 4 employees and typically between 8 and 15 direct reports. Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.

Responsibilities
- Manages a team of exempt individual contributors that support the Large Format Global business unit (GBU).
- Undertakes accountability for factory planning operation specific to FG Engines and Accessories supplies and demand activities for multiple product lines (Design and Production) in Large format MPa manufacturing factories, ensuring that shipment performance (On time deliveries [OTD], finance cost management in the area of non ESC elements such as PPV, EOML scraps, OS forecast & consignment activities, etc.) meets global and regional planning requirements.
- Lead and drive business contract agreements, VIA, record retention, SER, SOFA, PBR, inventory under LFO accountability and printers EOML/exposure mitigation.
- Ensures On-time shipment delivery of products, accessories and services that meet the performance metrics defined by GBU, GTM and LFO Print senior management.
- Manages the demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution and identifying issues and their impact.
- Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a limited scope. Typically, in the monthly forum of SIOP; Supply Inventory Operation planning meeting, in the monthly planning mtg together with region planning leaders and GBU
- Proactively identifies opportunities for planning process improvement and policy development (FOG Factory operating guidelines) and engages in their design and implementation.
- Collaboration with product stewardship team at GBU to ensure countries trade compliance programs to realize efficiencies and advantages in the supply chain.
- Drives monthly non-ESC budgeting elements (PPV, Scrap, OS management, LF inventories) forecasting, and analysis to support cost-effective operations deliveries and executions.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to maintain successful business operations, addressing any roadblocks or challenges together with the GTM Planning team.
- Manage and working closely with the MPa to improve response time to FG engine/accessories shipment request, facilitates the MPa claims (e.g. Downtime/ PPV/ material AOS support/ LTB …)
- Participates in hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes.
Education and Experience Required
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
- Preferred Certifications; Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations)
