The Lexus of Stevens Creek Housekeeper Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $19.00 - $21.00.

*This position is 100% on site at Lexus of Stevens Creek in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains all areas of the dealership.
• Floor maintenance by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
• Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners.
• Dilutes / Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Inspects designated areas of the dealership for opportunities to repair and/or clean as appropriate.
• Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Assists in all other areas of the Facilities department, as needed.
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
• Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, desired.
• Previous Janitorial/Housekeeping experience or related field, desired.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance and gardening; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable and safe driving record.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to:

• Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and/or legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including low and high temperatures, precipitation and wind, noisy environments, and small and/or enclosed spaces.
• Adjusting, moving, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
