Job Description

Burrow Global is currently seeking an experienced Level IV Piping Designer to join our engineering team in Deer Park, TX.

As a Level IV Piping Designer, you will play a crucial role in our projects, particularly in pipeline design, compressor station design, and mid-stream operations.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Utilize expertise in pipeline design, compressor station design, and mid-stream operations to create comprehensive design packages.
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFD), piping & instrument diagrams (P&ID), 3d models general equipment layouts, facility plot plans, and equipment and instrument lists. Candidates must have recent Autocad and Cadworx software experience for this position.
• Assist in the development of Project Scopes, Engineering / Design Scopes, and Construction Scopes of Work.
• Conduct thorough research, verification, illustration, and documentation of drawings.
• Perform field verification as necessary.
• Check and update drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain file organization and package maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with vendor partners and client representatives.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CadWorx 3d, and Bluebeam is required.
• Associates Degree in Drafting or Design preferred.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• 15+ years of experience in piping design.
• Strong drafting ability and project organization skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from project engineers while being innovative in problem-solving.
• Experience with design preparation tasks such as piping plans, sections, details, and isometrics.
• Attention to detail in design drawing layouts and P&IDs.
• This is an exempt position. No O/T is being offered.
