岗位职责

Strategy Management team is a central strategy management function for Tencent’s global gaming business. This team has a broad coverage, leading business strategy, goal mgmt., operational improvements, and key strategic initiatives for the entire global gaming business, including dev studios, publishing units and central platform.

We are looking for an experienced Strategy Manager to join our team. The successful candidate shall have exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams. This is an exciting and challenging position for a motivated candidate who is passionate about the gaming industry and enjoys working with professionals from diverse backgrounds.

Key responsibilities:

• Business Strategy & Goal Management: Frame long-term business strategy and annual business plan, break down business plan to concrete business goals, and work with cross-function teams to set and track goal completion

• Business Review & Operational Improvement: Conduct monthly review and analysis of financial and business performance, identify problem areas, and drive initiatives to improve business operations

• Strategic initiatives: Support CEO’s key priorities and other strategic projects

• Market analysis: Stay up-to date on industry trends and market insights to inform strategic decision-making

• Strategy communications: Develop written speech or presentation for CEO or senior leaders from management board

岗位要求

• Structured-thinking, analytical, problem-solving skills are critical to success in this position. Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, financial analysis is strongly preferred

• Demonstrate strategic visions, business insights and passion in the gaming industry

• Have an entrepreneurial spirit with a track record of taking initiative and driving results

• Solid presentation and professional communication skills, with attention to details

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and support senior executives on strategic initiatives

• Fluent in Mandarin and English, as 50% of the day-to-day work is conducted in English
