Position Title Level II Cybersecurity DCO SOC Analyst
Location Charleston, SC
Clearance Secret with an upgrade to Top Secret
A Level II Cybersecurity DCO SOC Analyst is expected to have a strong operational understanding of enterprise-level defensive cyber operations, including threat detection, log analysis, SIEM tuning, incident triage, and escalation. They should be comfortable working in a 24/7 environment, correlating data from multiple sensors, interpreting alerts, validating indicators of compromise, and providing actionable recommendations to higher-tier analysts.
Experience should include hands-on exposure to common threat actor TTPs, malware indicators, network protocols, host-based forensics, vulnerability management workflows, and defensive toolsets such as IDS/IPS, EDR, packet analysis tools, and log aggregation platforms. They should also demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to document findings clearly, and the maturity to contribute to incident response activities and continuous improvement of SOC processes.
Education GED or High School Diploma
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations areas including Network Security Monitoring and Incident Response/Forensics.
