About the Opportunity

We are seeking Security & Concierge Officers to
become the welcoming, reassuring face of a professional multi-site environment
across Adelaide’s CBD.

This is much more than a traditional static security position. You will be combining front-of-house concierge service with hands on security operations. You will be welcoming staff, visitors and contractors, managing access and monitoring CCTV and other security systems with a calm and professional attitude. The role offers genuine variety and the trusted responsibility and the satisfaction of helping employees, contractors and visitors feel both welcome and safe.

The site will have permanent rotations with shifts operating at the below times:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Create a warm, professional first impression at reception and assist employees, visitors and contractors with enquiries.
• Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out, identity checks, access passes and contractor induction requirements
• Conduct scheduled internal, external and perimeter patrols, identifying hazards, defects, suspicious activity and security concerns
• Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies and challenging behaviour, including de-escalation and evacuation support
• Maintain clear, accurate records and complete timely incident reports, daily logs and service documentation
• Work collaboratively with AG Security Group, client representatives, emergency services and fellow team members

• Follow all security, safety, privacy and site procedures while taking ownership of service quality

The following Certifications are required:

• A current South Australian Security Licence
• A current Australian Driver’s licence
• Current First Aid Certification (preferred)
• Current Fire Warden accreditation
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia
• Working with Children Check
• We will require a new National Police Check as part of the onboarding process

You will thrive in this position if you enjoy helping people, take pride in your presentation and can move comfortably between polished concierge service and practical security duties. You are calm
under pressure, naturally observance and trusted to use sound judgement without constant supervision.
