Level 3 Nursery Assistant (Temp to Perm)

  • Location: St Albans
  • Start Date: Immediate

Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a caring and motivated Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming nursery team in St Albans. This temp-to-perm opportunity will allow you to support the daily care and development of young children in a nurturing environment.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will work closely with qualified staff to assist in delivering high-quality childcare and educational activities, ensuring children's safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities.
  • Support the implementation of learning programs under the guidance of qualified practitioners.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Assist with daily routines including meal times, rest, and play.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
  • Passion for supporting the development and well-being of young children.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
