Custom Computer Specialists is looking for a motivated technical professional to join our team as a Level 1 Deskside Support Technician! This person will be responsible for providing first/second level support for incoming help desk inquiries and desk-side support to end users in a large corporate environment. This person will be assisting staff with any technical issues and requests.

What You'll Do:

• Handles all incoming calls to the help desk via phone, email & walk-in
• First level in-person IT support
• Provide resolution and assistance to Windows related problems
• Provide resolution and assistance to standard supported applications: MS Office, Browser programs, Antivirus and other supported proprietary applications and systems
• Mobile Device Management: ordering, first level issue handling, installations/upgrades, Intune
• IT Purchase Requisitioning, Invoicing, pricing of accessories; PO tracking
• Asset management: Maintain and constantly improve Asset data
• Continuously monitor ITSM ticket queue
• Assist with Local AV- i.e. help setup a speaker or help connect to the monitors in conference/training rooms, troubleshoot A/V – PC connectivity issues.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

What You Bring:

• A+ certification
• 1-2 years’ experience in hardware and software support
• Industry recognized Help Desk Certification and/or help desk environment experience A PLUS
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Knowledgeable on software installations
