LEV Testing Technician
Location: South West – home-based with travel to client sites
Hours: Full-time, part-time or flexible hours considered

We support organisations across a wide range of industries, including energy, waste management, manufacturing, planning and development, helping them manage environmental, occupational hygiene and workplace compliance risks.
We are now looking for an experienced LEV Testing Technician to join our team and support clients across the South West.
What will you be doing?
As an LEV Testing Technician, you will manage a varied portfolio of client projects, carrying out examinations and testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out LEV thorough examinations and testing in line with relevant guidance and legislation.
- Compiling technical data and producing clear, accurate and concise reports.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to clients.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Managing projects effectively and completing work within agreed timescales.
- Recording accurate details of workplace processes and procedures.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with COSHH, health and safety legislation and safe systems of work.
- Working independently while collaborating with occupational hygienists, consultants and wider project teams.
- Liaising with clients, colleagues and regulatory bodies where required.
Who you are
You will have previous experience working within the LEV industry and will be comfortable managing your own workload while travelling to client sites across the South West.
You will also have:
- A BOHS P601 qualification.
- A strong technical and educational background.
- In-depth knowledge of COSHH regulations relating to LEV systems and occupational exposure.
- Experience completing LEV thorough examinations and tests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to produce clear, factual and easy-to-understand technical reports.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A full UK driving licence.
Additional BOHS P600-series qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
