The Department of Middle East Studies at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor invites applications for a part-time (33.33%) lecturer position in Mideast 201 beginning August 26, 2024. This is not a benefits-eligible position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching 3 discussion sessions, attending lecturer, and grading for Mideast 201 - “Madness, Medicine, and Magic in the Middle East”.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
Applicants should have experience teaching in Middle East Studies, Middle East History, Middle East Religion, or a related discipline related to the course content/subject matter. Experience with teaching Middle East Studies at the post-secondary level is desired. Language of instruction will be English.
