Job Description

The University of Michigan-Flint School of Management is seeking qualified candidates for a 25% effort part-time LEO Lecturer I to teach BUS 110, Business Concepts and Careers, with one course in Fall 2026.

This is for a DEEP class located in Hartland, MI, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30 - 1:45 PM.

Responsibilities

The preferred candidate would have professional experience with a broad variety of business concepts and business protocol, including general business management, human resources management, operations management, marketing, accounting, finance and their interdependent nature, as well as some experience with job search techniques, writing resumes, job interviewing, and establishing interpersonal relationships.

Salary will be competitive with other Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Accredited institutions.

Required Qualifications

Prospective candidates should minimally possess a graduate degree in a relevant discipline. Relevant work and teaching experience is desirable. Strong communication skills are needed.

Mode of Work

Onsite

The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan.
