
The UM-Flint School of Nursing has an Intermittent LEO Lecturer opening for NUR 850 (Pearls and Procedures for the Office Practice) in the fall 2026 semester starting August 24, 2026. This is a two-credit (13.33% effort) mixed-mode course that has online asynchronous content as well as a two-day onsite residency that will take place on campus.
Course description This course will give students the opportunity to learn theory and skills for the office practice and urgent care environments. Pearls of wisdom in areas such as (but not limited to) billing and coding, telemedicine, EKG interpretation, dermatology, radiology interpretation, musculoskeletal exams, supervised suturing and casting/splinting labs.

Modes of Work
Hybrid
The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work ad an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employe may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements
