Your Role:

As a Lending Specialist, you’ll be a key part of our retail branch network, delivering outstanding member experiences and specialist home lending support. You will also:

• Build long-term relationships with members on base and in the local community
• Guide members through the home loan journey end to end
• Proactively connect with new and existing members to understand their lending needs
• Grow both mortgage and consumer lending portfolios
• Work closely with branch staff, regional lending peers and the credit team
• Support members in adopting digital banking tools to make their lives easier

What we're looking for in you:

• You’re passionate about delivering great service and confident building relationships.
• Experienced in retail lending or residential mortgages
• Comfortable engaging members proactively and having meaningful conversations
• Commercially minded, with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
• Organised and confident managing a lending pipeline
• Tech-savvy and open to new ways of working

What you will need:

• Tier 2 accreditation and/or Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage Brokering
• Ability to complete standard probity checks (credit, police, bankruptcy)
