Your role & work environment

You contribute to the operational credit processes of ING Luxembourg by ensuring the accurate, reliable and timely execution of credit files across Retail, Private and Wholesale Banking in line with the new strategy of the Bank.

Based in Luxembourg City, you will join the Shared Operations department, which brings together the Lending Operations, Real Estate Valuation, Customer Care, Payment Processing, and Payment Claims & Investigations teams, and work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

This is a short term contract of 12 months

Your key responsibilities

Credit Operations Management

  • Process incoming and outgoing credit-related correspondence
  • Prepare credit files prior to submission to credit analysts
  • Draft credit agreements and related documentation

Credit Facilities Setup & Monitoring

  • Set up credit facilities in the relevant systems
  • Monitor existing credit files throughout their lifecycle
  • Ensure operational accuracy, completeness and timely follow-up

Stakeholder & Task Coordination

  • Handle ad hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor, control and resolve outstanding operational tasks
  • Act proactively to ensure smooth execution of credit operations

As a Lending Operations Officer, you will need:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Office Administration or a related field
  • Previous experience in a credit-related environment is required
  • Strong administrative rigour, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High motivation and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • An interest in AI, in a regulated operational environment, is considered an asset
  • Fluency in French, English and German is mandatory
