Job Category: BankingTexell, named one of the BEST credit unions to work for in the nation by American Banker, is seeking a Consumer Lending Consultant to work onsite at our Temple, TX, headquarters. We’re looking for someone who:
- 1 – 2 years direct to consumer sales experience, to include a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience with analyzing credit reports
- Is comfortable with commissioned-based roles with aggressive sales targets.
- Strong understanding of consumer loan products (auto, recreational, consolidation, personal, credit cards) and services.
- Has a teamwork mentality and a drive to work with others to accomplish not only department, but credit union goals.
As a Lending Consultant, you will:
- Be passionate about building relationships with members and meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets!
- Work onsite in a call center environment, where you will originate different types of consumer loans (auto, credit cards, personal loans), conducting business via telephone, chat, text, and email.
- Be available to work during the week with rotating Saturdays. Preference is given to those applicants with open availability.
- You will have high goals to meet. But trust us - meeting those high expectations come with high rewards.
- Be responsible for ensuring all paperwork is complete and correct. Accuracy and attention to detail are imperative.
