Job Description

Summary: The ideal candidate is a talented, organized, and caring Leisure Travel Advisor to join the in-house team. Someone with a passion for cultivating strong client and team relationships and can solve problems. The leisure travel advisor completes and communicates leisure travel arrangements by fulfilling air, hotel and other transportation requests to the end of optimized spend, seamless travel and first-class service for every client. This role requires daily support and problem solving for a wide range of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Create custom itineraries, working within a range of budgets, interests, and destinations.
• Confirm air and hotel reservations via Sabre GDS and other booking platforms
• Field and assist inquiries that come through the website and referral business.
• Coordinate and confirm pre- and post-travel extension arrangements (including a considerable volume of international rail and boutique hotel bookings for clients.
• Perform other support duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with booking cruises, tours, travel insurance, car services, and other sightseeing requests to provide quality service.
• Familiarity with preferred luxury suppliers and vast knowledge of worldwide destinations and eagerness to expand on that knowledge.
• Sabre GDS and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Proficient organization and time management skills
• Ability to travel for work (light travel might be required)
• Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
