Your Role & Responsibilities
In this apprenticeship, you will learn the basics of mechanics and electronics. You will install mechanical and electronic components and program and configure controls for automated systems. You will also program robots and use them in production processes. Theymaintainmachines and systems, analyze and fix errors. In addition, you will work on practical projects to apply what you have learned and develop solutions.
In this role,you’llhelp run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

What it takes to Run what runs the world
This position is an apprenticeship (training) according to the Austrian vocational education system. Applicants must meet the legal requirements to start an apprenticeship (e.g., completion of compulsory schooling, residence in Austria or appropriate authorization).
Technical understanding: Interest in physics and mathematics as well as logical and analytical thinking skills are important.
Dexterity and eye-hand coordination: Skill isrequiredwhen assembling,repairingor replacing components.
High willingness to learn: The industry is constantly evolving, so being open tonew technologiesand processes is important.
Abilityto work in a team: Collaboration with colleagues and other departments is crucial.

In accordance withthe collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this positionis€ 1,260.23 gross/monthas of May 2026.
