Reporting to theSr. TechnicalConsultanttheLegionella Consultantis responsible forproviding application support to sales representatives and clients in product screenings and treatment program selection, with a specific focus on Legionella The candidate willbe responsible forsuggesting troubleshooting treatment programs to meet the customer’s cost and performanceobjectivesand for preparing recommendations and results and toassistthe sales representatives in advancing the selling process.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
Keep informed on all relevant Legionella and water safety information, guidelines, standards, and regulations, i.e., national, state, and local regulations.
Develop and edit in-house water management plans.
Survey customer facilitiesto develop third party vendor water management plans with follow up as needed with customer program teams.
Available forfield salesassistanceas needed, including leading facility surveys, proposal preparation, and sales presentations with the involvement of our field sales representatives.
Travel throughout the continental U.S. on an average of three days/two nights per week.
Conduct equipment inspections classified as confined space as defined by OSHA.
Provide troubleshooting and technicalassistanceas required, to include problem solving, sales representative on-site training, operator training, and equipment inspections.
Train sales representatives in the areas of Legionella control and how to conduct surveys for water management plan development.
The essential requirements of the job include
Bachelorsof Arts/Sciences orMaster’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related fields
Ten years of field experience in water treatment will beconsidered as anequivalent to a four-year degree.
Five or more years’ experience with a major water treatment company.
Good background in one or more key industries involving cooling water treatment.
Able to travel up to 75% of the time.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000 USD per year.
