Job Description

Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a leading law firm in the search for a Legal Support Coordinator.

This role provides comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys and legal teams, with a strong focus on supporting a national products liability practice group. The position is highly detail-oriented and fast-paced, requiring strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality internal and external client service.

The Legal Support Coordinator will support day-to-day case management functions, including new matter intake, docketing, document management, and discovery coordination, while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely execution of assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily litigation and administrative support to attorneys within a national products liability practice group.
  • Assist with new business intake processes, including data entry and conflicts checks for high-volume matters.
  • Manage case docketing, including discovery deadlines, hearings, and trial dates; update and maintain accurate calendaring systems.
  • Support discovery-related case management, including tracking and organizing requests for production, interrogatories, and deposition notices.
  • Maintain and organize case files, correspondence, and legal documents within the firm’s document management system.
  • Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, and case materials from drafts or dictation.
  • Support electronic and physical document filing, scanning, copying, and creation of case binders.
  • Assist with tracking litigation schedules and communicating updates to attorneys regarding deadlines and changes.
  • Provide support with attorney time entry, billing coordination, scheduling, and travel arrangements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; some post-secondary education preferred.
  • 2–3 years of litigation support experience required, including hands-on discovery-related responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support varying office needs as required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment in prioritizing tasks.
