Job Description

Your Tasks:

  • Responsible for all legal related topics. Dual-line reporting to local & HQ.
  • Creation, review and management of all legal documents, contracts etc.
  • Creation and maintenance of contract templates in accordance with changes in laws, regulations, or corporate policies.
  • Contract negotiations in collaboration with business departments, providing legal support throughout the negotiation process, identifying and mitigating legal risks.
  • Contract archiving, performance tracking and renewal.
  • Customer documents and vendor code setup related work.
  • Compliance management, identify, prevent and mitigate legal risks, provide feasible compliance advice and risk alert to the departments and the Management.
  • Lead or play a key role in establishing the company's compliance framework.
  • Credit check of partners, due diligence check and maintain the compliance and validity of corporate licenses, AoA, and other documents.
  • Provide daily legal consulting concerning corporate matters and provide legal trainings to employee.
  • Optimization of department processes.
  • Lead all legal projects.
  • Provide support with research on legal issues.
  • Responsible for dispute resolution, including the collecting and sorting of relevant materials, preparation of evidence, and strategic communication etc.
  • As the contact window for legal topics, responsible for communicating with external stakeholders including partners, external law firms, and government agencies etc, to handle related matters.
  • Other related topics assigned by superior.

Your Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law. Successful completion of the Bar Examination.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the legal profession in multinational companies or law firms.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Solid legal knowledge and experience in major legal fields (corporate law, commercial-related laws, data protection etc.).
  • Strong business sense and interests to approach issues from both legal and business perspectives.
  • Details-oriented, good communication skills, strong learning capabilities, a proactive, structured and conscientious way of working.
  • With high degree of accuracy and keep track of complex issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database tools.
