Legal Solutions Engineer

Digital Data Foundation is sourcing a Legal Solutions Engineer to deliver automation to internal stakeholders and select clients using Contract Express primarily and innovative technology solutions in support of automation strategy.

Responsibilities

Delivering firm-wide automation strategy collaboratively with the Innovation and Knowledge Management teams as part of the Transformation initiative;

• Automation of documents, publishing these via a dynamic online questionnaire
• Assistance with Neota Logic applications and other expert systems for decision-making automation
• Designing HighQ Collaboration portals, to host client-specific or practice-specific expert systems and document automation tools
• Kira AI/Machine Learning projects, including clause extraction projects, working with the Knowledge Management team as appropriate
• Horizon scanning for new innovations that incorporate expert systems and automation

Experience

Educated to degree level, preferably related to law or with legal training and experience of automating documents using Contract Express, preferably gained in a law firm (or legal department);

• An understanding of the structure, complexity and organisation of legal documents (e.g. contracts)
• A keen interest in the future direction of legal technology systems.
• Enthusiasm for all forms of legal automation and innovation, preferably a wider IT knowledge and experience
