As part of their ambitious growth strategy in Hong Kong, Star Anise Legal is tasked with finding a highly motivated and versatile Legal Secretary who can apply themselves beyond the traditional legal secretarial function. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Partner
• Manage and organise legal documents, correspondence, and case files
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
• Prepare and format legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and contracts
• Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of legal secretarial experience at a leading law firm, with exposure to practice areas such as Funds, M&A, and Banking & Finance.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software such as Elite 3E
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (including Mandarin) is essential
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible with excellent multi-tasking skills
