Legal Secretary – Join a Leading National Law Firm

Full-time | Cabramatta, NSW

Longton Compensation Lawyers is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Legal Secretary fluent in Vietnamese to join our growing team in Cabramatta, NSW. As a Legal Secretary, you will provide essential administrative and secretarial support to our partners and lawyers across a range of personal injury matters. This role offers meaningful, hands-on involvement in client matters and the opportunity to contribute to positive outcomes while working closely with senior practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong admin support to the partner/s with file management, follow up with clients and ensuring matters are managed professionally

• General administrative assistance to lawyers as required

• Drafting and preparing legal documents and correspondence

• Opening and managing files and documents

• Closing files

• Client intake and management

• Greet clients and visitors on arrival in a professional manner

• Co-ordinate conference and meeting rooms

• Assist with food, coffee and other beverage preparation as required

• Distribute incoming deliveries

• Undertaking legal and factual research

• Assisting with discovery and document production

• Liaising with clients, courts, experts and other stakeholders

• Diary and time management for self and team members

• Transcription duties including proof reading and audio typing

• Proactive use of systems including ActionStep and any CRM adopted

• Client intake and management - this involves phone and email enquiries

• Assist the legal teams in administrative matters, systems, automation

• Looking for growth, innovation and exposure opportunities

Who We Are Looking For

• Fluency in Vietnamese is desirable, but not essential

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• The ability to adapt quickly, prioritise and respond appropriately under pressure

• To be eligible for this role, applicants must have the right to work in Australia
