We’re looking for a confident and experienced professional to join our Perth office, working closely with lawyers and Partners to deliver seamless legal and personal assistant support.

The role

As an integral part of the team, your ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and keep things running smoothly cement you as the go-to person.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Managing diaries, travel bookings, expenses, and inboxes with precision and foresight
  • Drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, and handling document production
  • Supporting matter administration, client onboarding, and compliance checks
  • Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Assisting with billing, reporting, and financial administration using Aderant
  • Collaborating on client-facing materials and business development activities
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a supportive team culture
  • Assisting across the APAC offices to ensure seamless coverage and support.

Please note that this role is full-time in the office.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will bring:

  • 3-5 years' experience as a Legal PA, ideally supporting Partners within a busy law firm environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency, including advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using legal billing and practice management systems.
  • Proven law firm experience, with the ability to confidently manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the confidence to use initiative and work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work full-time in the office (9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday).

Why join Pinsent Masons?

  • We have a global reach and a local feel. With 31 offices and 1500 lawyers operating across Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, you'll be exposed to domestic, international and multi-jurisdictional high-profile work, yet be in an office where everyone knows your name.
  • We do things a bit differently. Legal services are at the core of our business; however, we have diversified into other areas providing complimentary services to clients through offerings like Brook Graham and Vario flexible services.
  • We like to be flexible. Our firm is professional but also relaxed, you can dress for your day and in your own style. We also promote practices that support wellbeing, mental wellness and work/life balance so that everyone can thrive at work and at home.
  • We're lots of fun and very inclusive. Proud of our leading reputation for diversity and inclusion, we have created an open environment where everyone can bring their whole selves to work. You'll also have plenty of opportunities to participate in, and even run, social activities, diversity and inclusion networks, and charitable initiatives.

At Pinsent Masons we value diversity and inclusion. We are committed to creating a better workplace where all our talent can succeed and feel like they belong. We want to attract, retain and develop people at all levels and encourage applications from all suitably qualified candidates whatever your ethnicity, religion, age, physical or mental disability/long term condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression or any other characteristics protected by local law in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
