Job Description

The Legal Operations Specialist works directly with the Attorneys in our Legal Department and will report to Barton’s Senior Corporate Counsel & General Counsel.

Responsibilities

● Assist with the day-to-day operations and administrative needs of the Legal Department● Track and manage incoming and outgoing contracts, including by tracking key contract dates and othermilestones● Manage the Legal Department’s document management system by, among other things,● administering and maintaining legal files and a system of preservation for all original and other records,including scanning and indexing of electronic records.● Administer operation of the Legal Department’s knowledge, records, contracts, and policy managementprocesses● Perform data entry, data migration, and quality assurance tasks as each relates to the● Legal Department’s document management system, software applications, and other technology solutions● Analyze and compile data and create and produce dashboards and reports for various audiences● Support Legal Department policy and process coordination among all constituencies,● including the Legal Department, Sales, Recruiting, Finance, Accounting, IT, and other departments● Communicate effectively with internal personnel at all levels, as well as externally● Support the Legal Department and the company by completing other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

● 0-3 years experience● Motivation to gain experience in a corporate legal department setting● Excellent data analytics and technological skills● Excellent written and oral communication skills● Self-assured and confident in a variety of settings with a steadfast positive attitude● Dedicated, results-focused, quick learner who can handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and workboth independently and as a member of a team● Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a highly diverse workforce● Previous experience with document management systems and major customer relationship management (CRM)systems preferred● Please Note: This position provides legal support and is not an attorney position.
