As a Legal Operations Clerk, you will play a vital role in our Legal Operations division, promoting the use of progressive systems and technologies and incorporating AI tools wherever possible. What You'll Do
Support the daily business activities of the Legal Operations division, including financial management, vendor management, contract oversight, operations, systems and technologies, knowledge management, and project administration.
Function as the lead administrator of the ebilling system, Legal Tracker, using AI-enabled intake systems and functionality where possible. The lead administrator manages relationships with collaborators and delivers user training. They handle billing, compile reports, coordinate firm retention agreements and outside counsel RFPs, and perform other system-related duties as directed.
Process purchase orders and invoices using SAP Concur system.
Function as assistant administrator of the contract lifecycle management system, DocuSign CLM, assisting with the maintenance of contract attributes, managing user administration and support, handling system metadata, developing and conducting user training, and carrying out additional system-related responsibilities as requested.
Map workflow pain points to AI capabilities (e.g., organizing information, pattern recognition, text review, or automation) and frame problems as use statements to recommend AI tools or pilot programs.
Maintain and improve the department’s knowledge management system and intake data to make them AI‑ready (organize, clean and centralize documents used to train or prompt models).
Assist with preparing and distributing communications.
Assist with facility requests, equipment requests, and onboarding/offboarding of staff.
File emails, contracts, and other documents in the systems
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 2+ years of legal experience at a law firm, in-house corporate legal department, or equivalent.
1+ years working with legal technology that includes AI features (CLM, contract analytics, legal chatbots, e‑billing/matter management with GenAI) or direct experience supporting GenAI pilots and validating outputs.
Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong desire and curiosity to learn and grow a career in legal operations, specifically assisting with implementation and user adaptation of Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI tools.
Self-motivated great teammate with excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
Efficient, diligent, and organized with excellent technology skills.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations, recognizing standards required by a regulated business.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting that emphasizes performance indicators and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Skilled in working on one’s own and collaboratively with other teams, establishing effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Working knowledge of legal contracts, terminology, and principles.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, DocuSign, and Adobe and SAP Concur.

Pay Range
$20.50 - $37.70 per hour
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
