Legal Manager

Position: In this role, you will ensure the company operates in full compliance with local and international legal requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures, while actively contributing to their development and continuous improvement. This includes:

• Review contracts, assess risks, and draft or revise contracts as needed.
• Provide expert advice on projects and contractual matters.
• Offer comprehensive legal support to the leadership team.
• Communicate with external lawyers and regulatory bodies, managing complaints and claims efficiently.
• Advise on regulatory requirements across corporate law, financial regulation, licensing, and data protection.
• Assume responsibility for internal procedures and policies and oversee company operations.
• Collaborate closely with the Legal Director on legal and operational matters.
• Identify commercial priorities and needs, and optimize investment and resource allocation through the commercial engine KPI framework, in line with local regulations and brand strategy.

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer in Hungary with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong understanding of the economic and political environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical, well-organized, and able to work independently
• Fluency in Hungarian and English
• Hungarian law degree
• Experience in consumer protection, labor law, or tobacco regulation is an advantage
