Job Description

The Brazilian Legal Manager, located in Brazil, will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Having a generalist profile with a sense of ownership, focusing on Brazilian legal matters
  • Providing legal support to the businesses teams based in Brazil on the commercial aspects (public and private sectors), with focus on contractual law (mainly commercial, distribution and resale agreements), bidding processes and competition law
  • Assisting the Director, Assistant General Counsel LATAM in all legal matters in Brazil in designing and implementing solutions for the legal team to succeed in a sustainable and compliant way, as well as in the “export countries” on Distribution Agreements
  • Providing legal support in the analysis, review and creation of corporate policies (commercial, distribution, bidding, etc.), as well as commercial partnerships, incentive campaigns, etc.
  • Performing a variety of legal activities/consultancies on commercial, competition and bidding matters
  • Working closely with other global Legal Affairs teams, such as Compliance, Data Privacy, Labor, and Litigation
  • Acting as a legal business partner for other internal areas of the company, such as regulatory, finance, HR, supply, factory, procurement
  • Gathering, organizing, administering, and/or managing information, contracts, templates, databases and interactions with outside counsel

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • University Degree, OAB active and at least 10 years of experience
  • Fluent in English and advanced in Spanish
  • Proactive approach
