Job Description

Overall governance
• Ensure understanding of land registration processes and procedures, land due diligence, land and building tax filing, and relevant rules and regulations, to provide guidelines to junior members.
• Support periodic revision of policies, standards, guidelines, work processes and procedures that are relevant to land registration work, to ensure efficient operation and alignment with company’s policies & compliance with relevant governance.

Function-related accountabilities
• Draft and review legal agreements and documents in relation to land matters to ensure in compliance with required rules, laws, and regulations, as well as to secure WHA's interests.
• Perform activities in relation to land registration, including preparing, drafting, and reviewing documentation to carry out registration of rights and juristic acts on land and various permission operations to ensure accuracy and completeness of the land registration process.
• Coordinate with government agencies in order to complete the operations according to the plan in a timely manner.
• Conduct land due diligence to obtain material information relating to the land which the company plans to invest.
• Provide basic legal counseling related to land management to ensure effective and smooth operations, as well as prevent relevant business team from law-breaking.
• Perform research on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to land and land and building tax to ensure corrected understanding and reduce legal risks associated with documentation and operational processes.
