Job Description

Our client, an international luxury brand, is seeking a Legal Executive to join their dynamic global Legal Department. Reporting directly to the head of legal based in Hong Kong, you will play a vital role in supporting the legal team with various projects and matters both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the legal department with legal matters relating to new projects worldwide
• Handle legal inquiries from business units and provide timely and accurate advice and solutions
• Review and analyse corporate contracts, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Collaborate in drafting contracts, correspondence, reports, and presentations based on corporate model forms and precedents
• Prepare comprehensive contract summaries to facilitate decision-making processes
• Facilitate communication and coordination with external legal providers when required
• Provide support to other colleagues in the Legal Department as needed

Skills and Experience:

• Native legal-level fluency in both English and a high degree of proficiency in written Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional Chinese), fluency in spoken Mandarin would be advantageous.
• Able to draft contracts and correspondence in both English and Chinese
• Experience in providing preliminary legal advice on basic legal agreements such as confidentiality agreements and corporate contracts would be preferred
• Possess a Law degree, Legal Diploma, or an equivalent qualification
• A minimum of 3 years of experience at a law firm and/or in-house in the legal field
